Climate YES Honored with “Power of Hope” Award!

We’re thrilled to announce that Climate YES has been recognized with the prestigious “Power of Hope” Award! This incredible honor celebrates the impactful work of our dedicated volunteers and their commitment to climate justice.

Christian Aid specifically sought to acknowledge powerful ecumenical work that aligns with their mission, values, and thematic priorities, connecting UK volunteers with those who dedicate their faith and time in a global context. They chose Climate YES as a wonderful example of this, presenting us with a special recognition Power of Hope award.

The Power of Hope Awards event, held on Thursday, June 12th, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Church House, Westminster, was a truly special occasion. It followed Christian Aid’s 80th-anniversary service at Westminster Abbey, bringing together denominational leaders alongside individuals and groups from England, Scotland, and Wales. The event aimed to spotlight those who generously give their time, energy, and passion to make a difference. Awards were presented across various categories, including activism, fundraising, and raising awareness, with nominations open to the community.

A massive congratulations goes out to all the youth volunteers of Climate YES! Your dedication to serving God in different capacities for climate justice is truly inspiring and deeply appreciated. This award is a testament to your hard work and the positive change you are bringing to the world.
